Last week we spoke about breaking down long term goals into achievable short term goals and about scheduling your day.

The important aspect bridging this two is converting the steps towards your goals into a daily habit.

Habits according to Wikipedia is a routine of behaviour that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously.

Any activity done consciously for 21 days becomes a habit. 

Forming habits towards your goal takes time, the key is keep doing it for the next 21 days until one day it becomes a second nature.

If you would like to learn to play Piano then initially schedule your day to practice Piano for say 1 hour at a specified time for the next 21 days, then you get into a rhythm. Practising 1 hour Piano everyday is now your habit. As the days go by, your Piano playing skills increases.

Hurray! You made time your partner in achieving your goal!!

Memories are so easily forgotten, aren’t they? Even the ones we owe to never forget. Honestly I never believed it, but maybe it was true all along. My brain has lots of empty spaces or rather blank spaces as though I had black outs during that period, and I am like ‘did it just happen?’ Just kidding. So don’t wonder about what to do? What not to do? So on and so forth random, more or less repeating questions…it doesn’t really matter, just do it.

CHOOSE HAPPINESS

Change is the only permanent thing in life

But many a times we fail to realise

This simple truth.

Expectations are sort of a greed

We set for ourselves.

 

Life is like a breeze

Flowing along with this breeze

As life takes us by,

Moulding and modifying ourselves

According to the circumstances

And yet never forgetting to create happy memories.

 

Happiness is more like a choice than a destination.

It is not something you attain

But something which you experience

At every path of our life.

sends new hope.

Every year on the new year’s eve

we owe to change ourselves

in ways

we would love to reflect ourselves.

The external vibe

sends a shiver deep within your being,

kindling emotions and freshness.

 

All of a sudden

you are courageous with an

ingrowing self trust

which you never knew existed.

We smile and welcome

this external and internal change

wholeheartedly for a better change.

As we know,
